Sage Intacct is the business financial management solution built on a true cloud foundation & combines operational speed with unmatched visibility into your financial data. And when our pals over at Chuck & Charlie asked us to design and animate a new explainer video for Sage Intacct, we got right to work. The mission was to both conform thematically to Chuck & Charlie’s previous explainers they created for Sage but also to elevate design to the client’s new brand guidelines.
We here at Pipsqueak Animation love a challenge and adapting to different art directions and animation styles is a specialty of ours. Here are a couple of sample frames from a video Chuck & Charlie created before Sage Intacct’s new guidelines were developed.
Here are a couple of examples from Sage Intacct’s branding guidelines for characters. Notice the specific brush they use for the stroke (outlines) and how selectively they use that stroke to highlight parts of the character. The design style is simple but clear.
And here are a couple of style frames we created that mirror the original scene with updated character designs and art direction. What do you think?
